Brenda Lippett

It is with great regret that we had to report that Brenda Lippett passed away on Monday 24th March 2008. The funeral was held on Wednesday 9th April at the Mitcham Road Crematorium.

All donations have been sent to the Royal Marsden hospital cancer campaign for the Bud Flanagan Ward fund. This is the ward where Brenda spent her final days.

Brenda had been an active member of the Society for many years during which time she was on the Executive committee; twice the Hon. Secretary; dealt with our publications and attended many conferences and fairs helping on the bookstall.
She was receiving treatment following a recurrence of leukaemia in late 2007.
