Hours of opening:
Mondays and Thursdays: 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
Tuesdays and Fridays: 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Saturdays: 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
(Closed on Wednesdays and Sundays)
Location:
Peckham Library stands in the centre of Peckham, near the junction of Peckham High Street and Peckham Hill Street,
and on the north side of
Peckham Square,
which opens out from Peckham High Street opposite its junction with Rye Lane.
The clock tower of the former Jones and Higgins building is the
obvious landmark
at the start of Rye Lane and stands opposite
the big canopy that leads into Peckham Square.
Transport:
Main Line station: Peckham Rye, in Rye Lane,
about ten minutes’ walk to the south.
(There is no local Underground station)
Buses: 12, 36 and 436 (both from Victoria Station), 37, 63 (from King’s Cross Station), 78, 136, 171 (from Waterloo Station), 177, 197,
343 (from London Bridge Station), 345, 363, 381, P12 and P13.

at Peckham Library,
e.g. books, pamphlets, cuttings,
illustrations, maps,
directories, electoral registers, microfilm/fiche,
publications for sale.
Archives and reserve stock items will be unavailable
for the whole of the relocation period.
