Mid Norfolk FHS hold their meetings in Dereham, Norfolk and our area of interest includes the town of Dereham, which was previously known as East Dereham and the villages within a ten mile radius.

In 2024 we are offering talks, workshops and help researching your ancestors.  We hold meetings on Zoom and In Person so all our members are able to attend whether they live locally or not.   The meetings are on the third Wednesday of the month however sometimes our zoom meetings dates will differ slightly but all meeting start at 7.30pm. The In Person meetings are held at the Church Hall behind Trinity Methodist Church, Theatre Street, Dereham NR19 2EP.  Refreshments are available and new members and visitors are always welcome. In the Summer, we have an outdoor meeting in the area, looking at a site of interest to family historians.

2024 is our 30th Anniversary year.  As a member, the benefits include: meetings as detailed above, a quarterly newsletter, access to our library and regular opportunities to make use of the expertise of our other members.

You can join for as little as £12.00 a year.  We will be getting out and about in 2024 and are looking forward to meeting people at Fairs and Shows around the UK.

Come and talk to us if you need assistance with your Norfolk ancestry and we will be delighted to help you.
