There have been a number of changes recently to the main DNA testing companies so this will be a timely review of what these suppliers can offer on the topic of ethnicity and how the results for ourselves and our matches can be usefully interpreted.

What might suggest that someone on your family tree worked as a prostitute? What records might help you learn more about her? This talk looks at the history of prostitution in Britain from 1780-1930, including society’s attitudes to those who sold sexual favours, the legislation that impacted upon them and the work of those who tried to reform ‘fallen women’.
